Once you've used this for a while, try listening to some music without it! Everything sounds shit, like through earplugs or a big cushion over your head. The presets are perfectly fine for almost any type of audio, but do play with all the options - it's fun!
Its beauty is in its simplicity. Yes, Handbrake has a lot more compression features (which I've never needed) and I could do everything with other free tools, but nothing beats RipIt in regards to ease of use. If you just want to rip your DVD collection without much of a hassle, RipIt is perfect for the job.
Just installed; not really impressed with the "partly cloudy" icon - looks like a turd... (why's there a cloud BEHIND a half-eaten moon?)
OK, has been fixed! :-)
I don't get the strangely low rating here... TranslateIt has always worked well for me and is getting better with each update. Its ability to import and convert almost every type of free dictionary is just awesome.
