Interesting app. Easy to get around. There's a couple of translation errors as the devs seemingly dont use English as a first language. Importing contacts is difficult to do on ios. An option to Import contact groups would be better than choosing all (700 in my case) or checking boxes for all your contacts that you want to import. Can't see how to export any data. No way to import companies. And contact's that are imported seem to have their company field stripped when it should be used to populate the account fields. I think CSVs in and CSVs out for everything would make this app worth a serious look. As it is it looks like a lot of work and a lot of risk. There's no documentation with it that i can see either. All that said, a great idea that would suit my needs were the above issues resolved.

Caminaxe S.L., could you specify what issues have been resolved and what features have been added please? I still only get the option to import contacts on the iOS app but not in Mac OS app and then only with check individual boxes for each of the 940 contacts that I now have rather than use an organised approach such as the use of the iOS or OSX contact groups. The organisation (account) field is still being stripped out when contacts are imported. There's no CSV import or export that I can see and still no way to import the organisations into the account database. I still see some minor translation issues but these aren't a big problem at all. The functionality seems to me to be the same. Please correct me if I'm wrong or have misunderstood something. I still think that the time it would take to set this up and with no way to export data easily makes the app a non-starter for anyone with more than a handful of contacts and accounts to enter. Focus on these issues and you should see a huge increase in take up as the concept is sound, the design is clean and the mobility aspect is crucial to small business owners like myself. Locking data in is uncommon now from my research into CRM/Project apps because you have us by the balls and unsurprisingly we don't want to be in that situation.

I've used Capture One Pro and Canon Utilities for tethering 1Ds3's and 5D2's and both softwares have proved to be a constant source of embarrassment in front of clients due to lost frames, freezes, crashes and general poor performance even on new apple laptops. For the last few weeks I've been using DSLR Assistant including a Beta of 1.5 and not only are there a load more features, most importantly it's way way way more stable as a tethering solution. I'd advise people with similar experiences to switch off tethering in C1Pro and allow this dedicated software to handle this crucial task.

This application forms one of the first principals of digital photography. It's absolutely necessary.

I've been using this version for a while and it's incredible. The results and ease of use are great. Very importantly, it retains all metadata fields. Well worth trying. There are some stability glitches which I've worked around. I think I emailed the developer but don't recall seeing any response but fair play, I'm sure he is busy with other things. The issues are that some file formats don't seem to work too well. I find starting with 16 bit tiffs and ending with 16 bit tiffs is reliable and consistent though. Many thanks to the Dev.
