This software is slow as the hell when you want to insert other items over a file and want to move them or organise them over the background document... The grid begins at the bottom left of the page, while conventions in other softwares it begins at top left, but more over there is no way to change it despite the size....... The interface should rethink, the inspector is buggy for example when entering manually the position of an object over the document you have to deal several times before the object is re-positioned following your manual value...

ANd I forgot, to complete my preview review, to not expect to import huge SHP files project, to import a 400 MB shp file took it almost 2 H and the result was a bit hazardous .... It became even slower and more unstable.

It puts itself a real mess in the connection nodes while drawing and you will have sometimes to adjust all of them back. It is lacking of stability, can crash also for nothing. Interface a bit clunky sometimes, especially the styles and symbols library. It is missing OSM compatibility. Zoom behavior not efficient when you select a zooming zone, it will zoon inside but a bit away to zone you selected ... Some of the bugs reviewed by Martin not corrected and suffers of numerous bugs making its using not easy sometimes. I doubt the developers are trying it much before releasing or they would correct all of that already because those bugs are so boring you just can't miss them. Or it is to make money faster before the quality. Anyway, nice to play with for a while, but not a real software to work with before all the bugs especially the nodes bugs, the most boring of all, are not corrected.

Maybe interesting, but there are no demo version and you are forcing us to purchase via APpStore. Ok, but if I don't like the software for any reason, not efficient enough for my needs, not this not that, I will have to leave 20 bucks anyway ...... It is alway possible to negociate refound with a developer, but via the Apple APpStore it is very difficult!

I would give it a 4 stars as a intensive users of this good piece of software. But there is a new behavior I just can't stand anymore in Vuescan : After every update Vuescan will install itself in the dock and reliance it without warning you or without asking you anything. As a result you get all your reduced windows opened back and I put completely mess in your working environment if you forget when you are updating that Vuescan will do it. I do know it, but I don't think of this every time …… It is really boring, especially because this behavior will not respect Apple development guidelines. It should warn you and ask you if you want to, but it doesn't and once you have removed it from the dock, it shouldn't come back there anymore. So I will not give a 4 stars anymore like I used to until this is definitely corrected.
