For larger files, terribly slow screen refresh excludes this program from its professional applications. That's what worked graphic programs 10 years ago, when there was no support for GPU.
Just compare the speed of any moving object on the layer. Between Gimp and such Pixelmator (or Photoshop). The difference is visible right away, because those programs use graphics card support. (in my case ATI Radeon HD). Large file: eg 2500x3500 pix (ie A4 at 300 dpi)
Problem: In Chromium does not work the speaker icon on the google translator. Solution: Install the extension "User-Agent Switcher for Chrome." When entering the site: translate.google.xx - select for example "as Firefox 15" (you can permanently change the options for a particular domain).
The top innovations: hamburger menu and rounded tabs... :-/ And where is the HD HTML5 videos? Why do I have to use flash?
Very good and fast editor. Best replacement for TextEdit. However, if you are a programmer, you may need something more advanced. If you need to work on the text, easily and quickly change the encoding, search and replace any phrase or just something to write - this program is great. In CotEditor also works text speaking - and this simple feature of Mac OS X does not work, eg in TextWrangler. Besides, it looks nice, like a native OS X program. No fancy tool palettes and terrible icons.
This plugin is weak, I know, there was no choice. But now Is already released Adblock Plus version for Safari. Still Beta, but it works better than Adblock and is much faster. Just compare loading search on google images (when loading the same block list).
A lot of new features, but still does not work on most pages in the domain imdb.com - only on the first main page is ok, but deeper is not working.
Version 1.7 works great on IMDb.com already. Cool.
There is no speaker icon on Google Translate. I've tried everything. In all other browsers is OK. Anyone solved this problem?
This is crap. Try to use a language other than English - making lot of mistakes. I think that probably the majority of free online OCR works better. I chose the first result from Google: www.onlineocr.net - there was not one wrong letter.
For those interested: You can import bookmarks (to the bookmarks bar in Opera) from another browser using additional extension called Xmarks (version for Google Chrome) - can be downloaded from the Chrome Web Store. Of course, this extension also allows you to synchronize your bookmarks To be able to install Chrome extensions in Opera you need this: https://addons.opera.com/pl/extensions/details/download-chrome-extension-9/?display=en
Finally added a nice and modern icons. A set is called Sifr (you have to manually change in the preferences).
