Affiliate Manager / MUPromo "Right Hand Man/Woman" - Seeking a full time affiliate manager to build relationships with Mac developers to help promote the sales and growth of their software products. Empowerment in this position includes:
- Let loose and become friends with many of the major Macintosh developers. Work together to setup 24-hour MUPromo promotions in an effort to brand and sell many copies of their software.
- Build relationships with both small and large Mac websites and blogs. Get them excited about upcoming MUPromo promotions and align the writing of their articles and news coverage with specific titles you'll be promoting on MUPromo.
- Take partial responsibility of technical support issues directly related to MUPromo. This will help you stay connected to both the developers and users and MUPromo serves.
- Be entitled to manage outgoing payments to your affiliate partners and developer partners a few times a month.
- Get creative and integrate new ideas to help promote further sales for developers.
We're looking for someone that has extensive knowledge of Macintosh software applications and the Mac web community. The person should be extremely positive and a clear communicator. They should be skilled in many areas, as MacUpdate is a popular business and community but we are also small, meaning there are a number of different skill sets needed for each position in the company. Past experience with affiliate programs and relationship building is a plus. Relocation is not necessary, meaning you can live in the Virgin Islands if you wish. :) Full health coverage included in the form of extra compensation to cover individual health plans, based on your geography.
