DESCRIPTION
FTP Suite for REALbasic contains classes and code modules to add FTP support to your REALbasic applications. It supports:
  • Get File: Transfers any number of files from the server to the local computer.
  • Put File: Transfers any number of files from the local computer to the server.
  • Put Directory: Transfers all the content from a local directory and copies the entire directory structure to the server.
  • Delete File: Deletes any number of files on the server.
  • Delete Directory: Deletes all the files and directories from the specified server directory.

    ANONYMOUS  While if your FTP are very basic you could possibly get away from issing a command line this is what you need if you have some real FTP needs $60 is cheap in terms of the amount of programming time you save.

    Especially since you can do the same thing for FREE using the shell class and the built in FTP command with about 5 lines of code...

    PYRAMID DESIGN  I would like you to back up your statement with some RB Code that can perform all the functions that FTP Suite offers. The technique you're referring to does not even begin to offer the level of granularity, from a one call transfer of an entire directory structure to a simple change of directory.

    In addition, FTP Suite allows REALbasic developers the ability, using one API, to integrate FTP functions across Mac OS 9, X, Window and Linux.

    FTP Suite has been registered for by hundreds of REALbasic developers, including very large corporations.

    Constructive comments are certainly welcome. They, in fact, drive future features sets to FTP Suite.
