DESCRIPTION

Extended Software Updater is a system utility to check the latest version available of your software.

It allows you to search for software installed on your hard drive that are compatible with Extended Software Updater.
It allows you to check for the latest versions of these software available online.
It has an inline help to guide you through the interface.
It remembers window last position at launch.
It takes very little memory, CPU and disk space.
It doesn't need any installation nor configuration, which makes it very easy to use.

WHAT'S NEW

Vresion 2.0 adds the following:

An Exclusion list allows to exclude any selected software from the checking.
A Spanish localization has been released.

Seriously, if you want to go and waste time looking for websites to copy and paste onto this program so it will look for Program updates, go ahead, but thats rather pointless and a waste of time. 	Mar 15 2003	ANONYMOUS This application is Junk. I have to tell the makers of the software that I have to make their software compatible with ESU so it can see them on my hard drives. First, that's laughable that they'll do you developement work for you. Second, it's hard enough to get them to get it right in the first place for themselves. Get Real!!!!! (Version 1.5)		0

	Dec 2 2002	ANONYMOUS Checking the developer's webpage for this program, I see that it'll work with software that the makers of have made compatible w/this program. Sounds nice, but I'll wait until some other software makers have come on board. Until then, it's just a way to keep current on this software maker's stuff(Alphaomega software, IIRC). BTW, that's probably why the last reviewer saw that this program would only update itself. I can't really actually rate the software until it becomes useful, but I feel that at present it rates a 1 for value. Get some other software makers on board and that should (hopefully) go up.
