DESCRIPTION
iChat Enhancer is a module designed to work with Unsanity's Application Enhancer framework. It allows you to set the number of lines in iChat's message composition box, and to send instant messages that contain carriage returns without having them "swallowed" by iChat.

Finally, iChat Enhancer is free, and totally & completely unsupported.

    ANONYMOUS  I think this program is no longer available for download, and would be nice if they updated it for tiger!

    ANONYMOUS  This is awesome! No more tiny little bar to enter text in, now I have three spacious lines... and it's kinda fun to impress people who are using iChat when I have line breaks.

    ABASSCUBE  Unsanity always makes very simple little apps that put in some great, welcome feature in an app that Apple either took out, or should have put in, and iChat Enhancer is no exception. While it does the least of any of their apps/hacks/APE plug-ins, it's very nice to have more than one line in iChat, especially because it's not a normal textbox, so you can't scroll regularly: you have to use the arrow keys instead. This is a serious limitation of iChat, and iChat Enhancer fixes it perfectly with no negative side effects. And it couldn't possibly be a better deal: it's free! :)

    CAM REVOL  Everything Unsanity does just works... anyone that has any sort of serious issues with Unsanity softwares has a sick Mac in the first place... iChat Enhancer works like a dream, simple and easy.

    ANONYMOUS  APE plugins suck. EVERY time I've installed APE, it's done insanely terrible things to my computer. Finder spawning multiple copies of itself. Endless Beachball spinning.

    I like what unsanity is trying to, but be warned: their stuff is seriously unsupported by apple. It sucks that X doesn't have some 9 functions, but I'd rather have a working system then none at all.

    KEVIN  Awesome! Thank you! I've long been annoyed with iChat for the carriage-return stripping, and this fixes that! Also, thanks for the input window expansion.

    ANONYMOUS  For some reason when I try to use this I can't see any text in the message window. Any messages sent or received are completely blank. I can't even see icons. The area where one types the messages works as advertised. I had to revert it back though. Too bad.
