Track Info Assist is an iTunes script that will seperate the Artist name from the Track Title when this situation arises and replace the current text in the fields with the info found. The infomation downloaded from Gracenote CDDB for compilation CD's sometimes lists the Artist information as "Various Artists" but includes the artist in the track title field.
