EASER  xBack has always had a smooth display and doesn't slow my system down. I also like the ability to preview and customize my screensavers in its window. I honestly don't know if their use of their own engine (rather than Apple's) is advantageous, but frankly, I haven't regretted buying this. Customer support has always been good. New competitors will likely always come along, but this program has a long-standing track record.   (Version 3.7.1)

MICROSLOB  Hey where is the icon in the menu bar gone to?

No way to control the program without it!
