DESCRIPTION
CaminIcon allows you to change the Camino user interface by installing icons as well as other application resources such as nib files and localization files. CaminIcon automatically downloads and installs a set of high quality icon themes. CaminIcon copies all graphical elements of Camino's user interface from its own themes into the Resources folder of Camino.app. The application previews the new icons in a simulated browser window.

JCRAIG  It doesn't get much simpler than this. And now being a UB, it doesn't get much faster either on this MBP. Thanks for the update Reinhold, and for an excellent little app.

MACORIAN  I'm also waiting for an Update. In the application, when you go to the preferences and check for an update. It finds version 1.8 and indicates that it starts the download but nothing really happens. So I'm curious when we gonna have an update.

LOCUTISOFBORED  Another comment from me. Every theme downloads fine now, but when applying one to Camino I get this error: "Finder got an error: Handler can't handle objects of this class. (-100010)". Means zero to me since the theme was applied to Camino.

REINHOLD PENNER  I have never seen such an error. Please contact me via email and describe exactly what you did, so I can try and reproduce the eroor.

JB  This app., helps make Camino the best Mac (or otherwise)browser.

Designing a personal look and feel, to my borwser,...WoW!

I can even still use the old Western Hemisphere globe, as my dock icon.

FLARCH  Reinhold Penner gets nothing for maintaining this cool little app, or any of his other browser extras:

CaminoKnight - Nightly auto-installer

Safaricon - Safari Themer

FireFix - Nightly auto-installer

Try them out and send email encouraging him to update this!

ANONYMOUS  Doesn't work with the new Camino 0.9a1, and Tiger. As the previous review stated it keeps saying it needs applescript 1.8.3. Never had a problem with it before. So I hope the problem gets fixed.

ROLLINGFLO  There is no reason for not using Camino and no reason for not using CaminIcon!

This app is easy to use, nice to look at, 100% stable. And the provided themes and especially the splash screens are simply wonderful.
