STEVEN GOODHEART This is a great update. Love the new look of the interface and the new features. I've never had problems with this software and I've been using LabelWriters for many years now. Some of the early drivers and software were problematical, but I can say that at least for the last 4 years, this software has been rock solid for me, and happily, the updates have been much more regular for the Mac than they were in the early days of this equipment. Highly recommend this update. (Version 8.1)

DENNISG Not sure what all the complaining is about. The label software has always worked perfectly for me from Day 1, starting two years ago, and it continues to be flawless. This latest software update makes creating and saving labels easier than it's ever been -- good thing, because it doesn't seem to find the labels I created with the previous version. That's the only knock against this software I can think of. Otherwise, it takes mere seconds to create new labels. And with the new driver, printing is instantaneous. 4 stars -- instead of 5 -- because I had to spend 45 seconds making a new shipping label. (Version 8.1)

TVALLEAU I don't have, and have never had, any of the problems listed below. My Dymo Twin Turbo just simply works. Never failed. Now... a word of caution on the 8.1 update: the automatic address import from their own previous file, just plain does not work. Solution is to export from the previous version, which will yield a .csv file, and that will import correctly. Unfortunately, if you have custom-designed labels... forget it. They don't even offer (or at least I could not find) an "import labels" so I had to redo all my custom labels by hand. Very tedious work, guaranteed to leave a sour taste in the customer's (mine) mouth. While 8.1 is prettier, it isn't any better engineered than any of their previous software. Too bad hardware folks have such a tough time designing decent software. Great and totally useful product hampered by software that looks like it was designed in Java. Yuck! (Version 8.1)

GHEUER I introduced label writers in to our office in 1988, an all-Mac office of nine Macs. We have continually upgraded, but since DYMO took over the company, the compatibility with any Mac OS has been poor to non-existent. This version of the Turbo330 drivers, 7.7.1, is no exception. The machine works well when it works, which is off-and-on depending on whims I can't fathom. We are now up to over twenty Macs supported by a strong technical team. None of us can reliably, successfully install the DUMO LabelWriters and keep them working. Hardware Overview: Model Identifier: MacPro2,1 Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Xeon L2 Cache (per processor): 8 MB Boot ROM Version: MP21.007F.B08 SMC Version: 1.15f3 (Version 7.7.1)

LACTOSO Purchased the LabelWriter 400 Turbo a little over a year ago and it has worked flawlessly on my G5 running the latest OS X versions and the 7.0.0.17 version of the Dymo software. Well, the interface leaves much to be desired and the data management plain sucks, but it does what it's supposed to do. Got a notice to update to 7.6 today. When I went to install it, it prompted me for my admin password. Why does a label printer require admin privileges?!! (Version 7.6)

PLAID COW SOLUTIONS The label printer requires a system level printer driver to function properly. The application could be drag and drop, but the driver would still need to be system installed. (Version 7.7)

BILL_MCGONIGLE Upgrading from 10.3.9 to 10.4.8 on a MBP C2D and reading these comments I proceeded with trepidation. I'm glad to report that everything works as expected. I'm printing over the network from my new laptop to a 10.4.8 PPC Mini which has the actual USB connection. No problems, it works just like 10.3.9 PPC did. (Version 7.6)

NUMBNUTTS When I first bought my DYMO 330 Turbo two years ago, it worked fine with OSX. After several updates to the OS my label writer quit working and now with OS 10.4.7 I now have a dead label writer. OSX does not recognize the print driver. Even when attempting to install the printer through the "Printer Setup Utility". None of the installed drivers are recognized. Old 6.1 nor the New 7.6 Dymo application installers work. DO NOT BUY any of their products when using MAC OS X until the manufacturer of this fine label writer gets it to function with Mac OS 10.4.7. The writer is junk without a working print driver. Makes a great paper wieght though. How this printer works with Windows is beyond me. (Version 7.6)

STUARTY I have just encountered the same problem. However I managed a workaround to get the problem resolved. I have a colleague who had his LabelWriter 330 Turbo working on his 10.4.8 OSX - he didn't have any trouble. So I got a copy of his driver from his users/library/printers folder. I copied this to my users/library/printers folder. Now when I select the Dymo labelwriter from the list it adds the printer and it works just like before. If you need a copy of the driver then let me know your e-mail. (Version 7.6)
