Mount Me! force-mounts physical disks that refuse to mount on your system. You can also drop any type of image file (.dmg, .toast, .img) onto Mount Me! to have it mounted on your desktop.
If you double-click on the icon, it will seek out and mount any external/internal physical disks that refuse to mount for whatever reason. You will be able to select which disk(s) you would like to mount through a simple dialog box. To mount a disk image, simply drag the file onto the Mount Me! icon.
The AppleScript quickly mounts:
.dmg, .smi, .toast, .image, .img images, and then quits, providing seamless integration of disk image mounting without any app-launching. Either way, you'll be getting mounted in no time!
Tiger compatible. Please report any problems. Thanks.
ST00P!D M0NK3Y Works exactly as described. I had an .dmg file that just wouldn't mount on OS X Tiger 10.4.7, but this mounted it without any issues. Thanks! (Version 2.0.5)
DANWAY Doesn't mount multiple disk images, neither does flashmount. Try Mount, it's much better than anything else and it's free! My 2 cents worth. (Version 2.0.5)
ANONYMOUS Mount Me! located the external disk and stated that the mounted succeeded but DISK UTILITY continued to say it wasn't mounted. I attempted to mount disk twice but neither time was successful. (Version 2.0.5)
huge dmg files over 1g i hav downloaded and stuffit wont load them saying "invalid checksum" , but with this program it opens them fine and they work perfectly...thank god for mount me! (Version 2.0.4)
