Process Wizard is a menu hack that allows you to access to all the processes of your system (applications, background applications, user processes, non user processes) and to change their priority (Unix nice value). Ctrl-Click on a process to kill it.
BILL B Now running Tiger, I was looking for a renicing utility and came across Process Wizard again. I have used this in the past with Jaguar and Panther, but didn't think it would run under Tiger. To my surprise, it runs perfectly! The interface is different and better than when I used it in the past (new version).
3. Select "Process Wizard" in the drop-down menu and control-click on its icon
4. You will see a "KILL" button appear; click on it and you will terminate Process Wizard (Version 1.18)

ARVIDTP great program - I use it to convince OS X that my realtime audio processing in MaxMSP really is more important during a performance than rendering a pretty dock animation :) (Version 1.18)
DURIN software performs perfectly, even "killed" programm "quit Anything" when it froze.....
but program asks Admin password when i want to quit some app. very annoying, and theres no user manual whatsoever, nothing on dev,site. I need to set prefferences and can not fid any way to do it, can anyone help here.
DOMINIQUE PERETTI If you want to launch ProcessWizard with root privilege, you can launch it from terminal, assuming that it is in /Applications folder.
CODE NAME JON doesn't seem to make that much differance on basic tasks, bu t I just ripped a movie through 'Handbreak' about an hour quicker than usual!!!
