DESCRIPTION
Mail Forward allows you to forward mail from Hotmail, MSN, Yahoo, and AOL web mail accounts to any e-mail address. Standard POP and IMAP e-mail accounts can also be forwarded.

Mail can be forwarded for up to 20 separate accounts. For each account, a forwarding address can be specified or a default destination can be used.

Mail Forward works by accessing your e-mail account Inbox and forwarding each piece of mail through your SMTP mail server. Mail that is successfully forwarded can either be deleted from the forwarding account mailbox or left on the server. The forwarding account address is used as the return address for the forwarded mail, so if the mail is undeliverable it will be returned to the forwarding account.

A built-in scheduling feature allows mail to be forwarded automatically at a specified time interval.

Mail Forward also includes a basic scripting capability that allows you to use AppleScript to automate the forwarding of e-mail.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 4.2.2:
  • Modifications to accommodate changes for Hotmail accounts.
  • Correction to process all Inbox messages for Hotmail accounts, rather than only the 100 newest messages.
  • Update to re-enable display of error message for Yahoo Mail "New Classic" accounts, which are not currently supported.
REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

MIKAELF  Get a Gmail account instead. It will fetch mail from all kinds of accounts for you...for free. Nothing to install either...

JANUSKN  First it wouldn't work with my .Mac SMTP, so I switched to my ISP's (outgoing.verizon.net) and now I get some nonsense about 'syntax error'

    What gives?

I'm running Tiger and trying to forward MSN mail

MOUSEE  Isn't MacFreePOPs doing the same thing, for free? It still works with my Yahoo accounts on my Mac, downloading them to my Entourage mailbox everyday.

    ****.

ANONYMOUS  I was quite pleased with this product, and have been using it for almost a year, but now Yahoo mail has stopped working with it, and they want me to pay again to get the latest version, after I already paid for version 2. I'm disappointed.

CHRIS HABIG  What's the point? Apple's Mail can already do this.

KHURRUM  I believe this would require my PC/Laptop to be on all the time. If so, then can't we just forward it using Outlook/Outlook Express?

ANONYMOUS  20 mail accounts limitation? To me (being a programmer) this sounds like a very odd coding technique or a beginner. Dunno. :/

FERNBLATT  Not bad, but yea, 20 email limit? I can do the same thing with gmail, and it's free. If I were to have 100 gmail accounts, I could forward them all to a single account, or have them go to different places, or both at the same time via filters.

ANDREW HAAS  I am trying to forward my hotmail mail to another email acct. for some reason it isn't working, and i'm guessing it is because i don't have the right info entered in the preferences. like the SMTP server, etc. Does anyone know how to forward hotmail to a diff. account??
