Addressix is an envelope printing utility. It's designed to make printing mailing envelopes quick and easy.
It remembers your print settings, so you don't have to choose Manual Feed each time.
It remembers every address you've used, so you can pick common ones (like your monthly mortgage payment) with a few keystrokes.
And it prints bar codes based on 5 or 9 digit ZIP codes (normally the Post Office has to scan the address to do this -- reducing this step can improve accuracy).
MSWFUJOWDFFYC A lovely application I've used and enjoyed for years. However, there have been no updates for quite some time. And their website isn't answering up. :-( A Sharp, LLC is currently residing in the "Where are they now?" file. Does anyone know anything? (Version 1.4.9)
CHRIS HABIG I've been using the program since day 1. It's small, does it's job, and does it well. Integration with Address Book is good. Printed envelopes look outstanding. (Version 1.4.8)
ALLEN W. ROBY Addressix is the easiest form addressing program I have used and it is great how they continue to improve it and correct small problems as they develop. Highly recommend it to any Mac user. (Version 1.4.6)
DAVID DUNHAM What font are you using? You might try switching to a similar font.
And if there are driver-specific problems, try Page Setup and File > Print. (Version 1.4.6)

ANONYMOUS When launched in an admin account, it creates an invisible file /Library/Application Support/.Finder ASC DB with wide-open permissions. This appears to be a copy-protection measure. Any world-writable public file is a violation of the UNIX security model. If the permissions of the file are corrected, Addressix won't launch in a non-admin account (Version 1.4.5)
ANONYMOUS Thanks for the heads up. I almost downloaded this (Version 1.4.5)

MICHAEL SIDORIC THANKS for the update! Addressix was already the best way to address small batches of mail -- and the barcodes REALLY speed delivery. With the latest improvements -- there is no question -- Addressix is well worth the small price to register. (Version 1.4.2)
