ANONYMOUS Avoid this like the plague! 98% of the alleged vunerable SMTP servers are *not* vunerable. Given that a scan discovers about 1/min on avg that's about one useable sever an hour that get's found. And what's more to discover which one that is you have to send a test mail to EVERY potential server until one works. Bottom line: about 1-2 hrs manual work to discover a server!!! Put the app into the background during the middle of this then you can kiss your hardwork goodbye, cos a bug in the interface means it doesn't get redrawn anymore and the whole thing is basically unusable. Succeed in finding a server and save it in your server list, well don't expect it to stay there to long... the prefs are periodically corrupted and reset themselves! I expect the authors will squirm out of that one by claiming it's a demo limitation but you think I'm gonna contribute $10 for the development of a program helping to bring spam mail to my mailbox everyday?!! And to all those who defend it, claiming it's a useful "security evaluation" tool. B****cks !!! Any organisation who needs to test it's network to that level will have inhouse programmers who can knock out a script in a couple of hours. Caem is clearly intended for malicious intent and nothing less. By losers who can't get a proper day job! And why did I dl it?!! Malicious intent... to mail bomb somebody responsible for half my spam. Q.E.D. (Version 4.0.6) |
