DESCRIPTION

Adobe Illustrator 10.0.1 Updater fixes the following:

Performance: The update addresses several performance issues and speeds up launch time, copy and paste functions, opening and saving files as well as scrolling, panning, and zooming. Files with large amounts of text also open and close faster. The performance enhancements are especially evident on Mac OS with Epson printers.
Saving files to a server:: The update allows Mac OS users to save files directly to Microsoft Windows NT servers.
Preferences: The update fixes an issue where preference settings such as scratch disks or palette positions are sometimes not preserved between sessions.
Euro character: OpenType and Type 1 fonts now display the Euro symbol properly when saving a file in .ai or .pdf format.

	Jul 30 2003	ANONYMOUS Believe the hype. IT DOESN'T F*CKING WORK. Don't bother with 10.0.3 THAT DOESN'T WORK EITHER. I have tried this update on 12 office Macs ALL running OS 10.2.6 AND it won't work on any. If you're here out of desparation - I don't know what to tell you. Keep running 10, buddy. CARL789 I found this work-around to get Illustrator 10.0.3 working for me when nothing else would.

Go to the directories: User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fonts/ and User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/TypeSpt/, then remove all of the Adobe Font Cache files (named AdobeFntXX.lst") then repair permissions and relaunch the finder or restart.

This worked for me. The original fix did not include the permission repair and relaunch but I found I needed to do it to get it to work.
