GREENMONSTER  For those with concerns about compatibility with intel macs, give Bombsquad a try. I've been playing on my intel imac without a hitch.

FAHLMAN  The link to the download is dead. Too bad. This looks like the best minesweeper clone for the Mac.

DOMBI  I do not recommend trying this on an Intel Mac. It caused the whole system to hang. There was nothing I could do to get out of it.

I have to do a hard reset after about 10 minutes.

ROASTEDSW  The Aqua Mines v2.1.3 update fixes the Intel hang bug that was introduced by Apple Security update.

It also makes the app a Universal Binary. The bug was fixed the day after the first report was emailed to the developer.

ANONYMOUS  fast, simple, addictive: fun... all that is needed in a minesweeper. Nice interface, automatic reveal is great.

ANONYMOUS  Great mine sweeper game - might be the best for OS X. Pause feature (which hides the screen, mind you) is a nice feature. All in all, a good piece of software. Recommended!

READINGROSES  The thing that bothered me about the game was the font - it's very hard to see, therefore hard to play.

GOSTCODER  I suppose if you're some Mine-Sweeper addict and the other 8 Mine-Sweeper clones on MacUpdate don't fit your taste then it's alright.

I couldn't stand the "aqua" value. Tiles sets really should just be bundled with the game, they're only 76k anyway.

CASLON  Works fine as far as I can tell, but there is no explanation of how the game works: this knowledge is NOT inate. Icons could use some work, and a small audible alert when the game is lost/won would be nice.
