ITUNESJACK  I have used Discus for a long time. It is a must-have utility, as I can load Discus and make a quick sign, poster, or CD label before Photoshop has finished loading its plugins. Speed and focus are its great strengths, and although I mostly use it for my DVD backups, i do appreciate the thousands of built in paper labels it supports.

Also it has a cross-platform file format, and you get both a mac and windows version on the same disc for a single price; I wish more companies did this, I hate having to buy all my adobe products twice.

BREILLY  I've used Discus for years and the program has a lot of features, but it still has a very un-Mac like interface which may not appeal to everyone.

ARTROOM  Does anyone else get a 'codec overun' error whilst trying to mount the .dmg?

ERIC  I've used this program for the last 5 years.... It just keeps getting better and better.

It is now a truly beautiful and fun app to work with... makes labelling a joy rather than tedium.

There are so many options and ways to use your creativity and the interface makes its easy ...

This is leaps and bounds ahead of any other labelling program ... Do yourself a favour and try this program out ..

Worked flawlessly with my DVD printer ...

DAWGDRUMMER  It's been a long wait but now we have the best labeling program back, and with many great new features (and they work!). Please disregard my previous comments.

DAWGDRUMMER  The new upgraded program has finally arrived!!...and it crashes if you use the history function...and it won't allow you to reselect text...completely worthless at this point. What's happening guys? We wait for almost a year and get this?

PEDRORS  Another beta.... I don't even recall when I did pay for the final version...

Also, the scroll wheel doesn't work when choosing a template or paper. Meanwhile, I'm using Printshop 2, no problems at all, but not so complete as when Discus will be finished.

Hurry up guys....

DAWGDRUMMER  It still crashes and has so many illogical "features" that I can only say that I am disappointed and feel like I wasted my money.

I say avoid this until/if it ever gets out of beta.

DAWGDRUMMER  Well here we are in October and still in a very messed up beta version...my recommendation is to wait until the developer gets it working right and then buy it. It still is very glitchy.
