DOUGOFTHEABACI I downloaded the most recent version and three time since then I've had to quit the app because it was eating up resources like nobodies business. I have a 2.33Ghz processor and it was using between 130-160% of it! I'd love to know what an IM client needs with all that power. I don't really even get that with Photoshop! Leopard 10.5.2, all updates. (Version 1.2.5) |

TIM.DEHRING The best keeps getting better. I really do hope there can be a mobile version of this for the iPhone, as long as the iPhone supports background processes. (Version 1.2.5) |

MACMEND.COM Why do I dislike this application so much, what I wanted was a messenger system that allowed access to different formats, yahoo, msn, ichat etc, and yes it does that, but then it gets over complicated, becomes a bit bloated, puts on lots of bells and whistles, doesn't look right on my desktop, crashes. so I change the theme of it..oh yes it has themes and half of them I can't read or look rubbish. Bring back Fire or that other one I tried for ahwile that began with P or just move over to Skype. What a trick Apple missed with iChat by not promoting it properly and porting it to PC, they may use AOL alot in the states but not in Europe and asia and Skype is making big inroads in Africa and China (Version 1.2.4) |
