DESCRIPTION
ASM (Application Switcher Menu) is a small utility that adds a system-wide menu to the right side of the menubar. This menu lists all of your open applications, so you can easily switch between them. And you can set ASM to automagically hide other apps when you switch to another app! This is one utility you must have! Brings back the application switcher menu (and more) to Mac OS X. It's highly customizable and offers some nice extra features, such as Classic Window Mode (orders all windows of an application to front when it becomes active) or Single Application Mode (automatically hides applications other than the front-most one).
WHAT'S NEW
Version 2.2.7 adds support for dock sub menus on Mac OS X 10.5.4.
REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.3 or later.

DREMWKR  This is an interface item Apple should have kept going from OSC to OSX. This is an item every mac can use. I am learning disabled and having an easy to see and switch at a glance AS is a blessing indeed, for me anyway much more useful than Apple's "stealth mode" ASM. The Developer does work hard to keep the app current and is to be commended.

In addition, the price is right, and it works as advertised.

In summery, a Mac essential.  (Version 2.2.7)

DOGBERT1  The newest version (2.2.6) appears to have fixed the Preferences problem. I am quite pleased because this is one of my favorite Mac OS enhancements.  (Version 2.2.6)

DOGBERT1  This does not appear to work on an iMac G4. Version 2.2.4 works just fine. I have had to drop back to version 2.2.4. Version 2.2.5 causes the system preferences app to crash. I have tried removing the old preferences, but it did not help. System preferences still crashes when trying to load ASM pref panel.  (Version 2.2.5)

DREMWKR  This is an refresh of my previous review to cover v2.22 that was updated for Leopard dot five one. Everything I said before is still true. I do want to add that monoclast is right about the option the for classic behavior by itself alone makes the software worth getting (and paying for). The developer is to be commended for his timeliness in getting the new version out.  (Version 2.2.2)
