SHOUTcast is Nullsoft's Free Winamp-based distributed streaming audio system. Thousands of broadcasters around the world are waiting for you to tune in and listen.
PETER NESS I seriously recommend Nicecast for doing mp3 streaming. MP3 Sushi is also nice but I prefer Nicecast for doing actual radio streaming. Although I do use like mp3 jukebox feature in MP3 Sushi that displays everything in my mp3 folder as a nicely formatted web page thats have customisable themes. This has proved handy when I go over to my mates house for Poker nights and we just remotely select and play songs from my MP3 Sushi jukebox using a standard web browser on my mates Window's based PC. (Version 1.9.5)
ANONYMOUS I have had problems with the radio shutting down suddenly, but the sound quality is great as it should be... maybe you aren't using the right settings? (Version 1.9.5)

LINK3680 I recommend MP3 Sushi, which runs SHOUTcast but uses a Cocoa GUI, and it's way easier to run than from the terminal.
ANONYMOUS Warning: this is a unix app that runs out of the terminal. Those who don't want to mess with a command-line program should avoid it. (Version 1.8.9)
