ERDRD  Worked for me with OSX 10.4 and Server 2K3. The server wouldn't authenticate me with built-in OS X Samba tools. With Dave - immediate success.

This is easier than trying to get IT to change the authenication scheme on the server installation (especially if there are only 2 Macs on the network).  (Version 6.2.1)

GRAXA1982  Solved my problem getting wrong alias when trying to connect Win 2003 file server.

    Nice!  (Version 6.2)

POOP1  Unfortunatly I can't really recommend this application. True, they support more authentication methods. This probably helps a lot of people.

But they do NOT support the ability to hit hidden shares. So if you have a share that is called, say:

cifs://fileserver1/groups$/engineering, you can't mount it with Tiger's SMB client, NOR can you access it with Dave.

I'd gladly reach into my pockets and peel out a debit card if someone could make something to let me do that. It is the single reason I have a PC on my desk at work. That, and to change the domain password now and then.   (Version 6.1)

ANONYMOUS  This still exists? I used to use this on a machine running OS 8.1, but since OS X it seems pretty useless.  (Version 6.0)
