ACIES  WeatherManX no longer works.

It does not give forecasts or extended forecasts.

These functions ceased to work a while back; it is not because I have upgraded the OS, which is still at x.3.9, and I've been using the latest version of this app.

Most troubling is that the author does not answer e-mail anymore, and, while you can still register on the BB on his website, there is no sign of life from Dean.

I've tried all the hints and suggestions (essentially erasing and reinstalling and reregistering along with recreating city entries, etc.).

I think we have to assume that the author has abandoned the program and his website.

It would be foolish to buy this program now, of course. And foolish to buy anything from this author in the future, assuming he uses his own name.

A shame, I had become quite fond of the program.

GRYPHONENT  Been using this app for many years... it's pretty dated and could use a major update. But the developer seems to have forgotten about his customer base and moved on.

RAY16  Mr. Davis is being flooded by a ton of email, but help is here!!!

As I posted earlier/below. Just re-enter your City/Cities, for those of you who have a list of Places. Zip Codes would be a god send, :) All the forecast and ext. forecast will be there again.

Best of luck.

RAY16  In this Version, Forecast & Ext. Forecast has no info or images.

Conditions seems to be missing info too.

I run last build 10.3.9 on a G3B&W

IMPISH  Weather Man and Weather Menu haven't worked for me for over a year. When this started happening, I wrote the developer repeatedly, and heard nothing back. I try every new version in the hopes that it fixes the problem, but it never does.

Too bad: back when it was working, it was my favorite of them all. Now I use widgets and Firefox add-ons to get my weather.

RAY16  might be a hardrive issue, what OSX do you run etc. If you can backup, redoing the Drive may be an idea.

FDG  In "Setup U.S. Location": Can't add Denver or Denver area cities - constantly gives "Lookup Failed" error. Otherwise, nice program

SIMON JACOBSEN  SOCKING GREAT! I am sailor and the commodore of a yacht club. I use this unique and friendly software to get all the basics I need to know so I can plan marine events. Its format also allows me to copy the print to our club website. Great software, thanks Dean. Fast tech support too.
