DESCRIPTION
NFSManager is a small tool for easy access to the NFS features of Mac OS X. As an operating system with a Unix core, Mac OS X is able to support the Network File System (NFS) protocol according to internet specification RFC 1094. NFS is the accepted industry standard for sharing files between Unix systems.

Although NFS is a built-in component of Mac OS X, users cannot access this feature without special knowledge and use of the command-line. NFSManager solves this problem by providing an easy-to-use Aqua interface for the definition of NFS connections.

AHKNIGHT  I opened the app and it threw up two modal dialogs and hung, solid, when I started to answer a question.

It's so bad you can't even use it.  I'm glad it has a demo period..

PERLMONKEY  I tried to set up an NFS server on 10.4 but somehow the usual way (i.e. /etc/exports) didn't do it so I decided to try out NFS Manager. It did a great job, I configured NFS for my Mac and haven't touched the app since then. It does one thing (and even for free if you just want to try it) and it does it well.

ANONYMOUS  Buggy and Broken. GUI Stops responding after about 3 minutes. Zillions of menus but no real explanation about what they actually do in the Help.

Can't deal with an NFS share from my Linux machine. Can't connect to it, can't see it. Just ignores it.

Even the Finder at least tries. Has left with me with zillions of 192.168.x.x folders in /Volumes for some reason.

Whatever this app is trying to do would probably better done from the command line.

ANONYMOUS  I can not get my linux drive mounted either. The Ext2fsx fixed this problem. I have not been able to figure out how this one worked.
