FLASH1296  Display is alright, but it lacks easy commands for stepping forward / backward or changing speed.

It certainly is not as good as VLC or MPlayer.

Not close.  (Version 4.7.1)

HARRY  I can't belive that anyone is willing to pay 19,99$ for this piece of software crap.

Everyone, pleas use VLC! It's free and plays VCD/SVCD much better than this junk. VLC even plays allmost every videoformat in the world, including DVD-Videos.

I can't belive that anyone is stupid enough to use this thrash!  (Version 4.5.2)

ANONYMOUS  I haven't tried this software, so this is not really a review, but not only can you watch VCDs for free with VLC, you can even burn your own VCDs for free with DivIllusion.  (Version 4.5.2)

KAARU ANDO  I have been using MacVCD and MacVCD X for years now with no problems. Yes, I use VLC also, but for watching the VCD videos which are sold here in Asia, MacVCD X is simpler and does a better job than VLC. I would ask the developer to add "Check for update" to the menu to allow users to easily update.  (Version 4.4.1)
