Pseudo is a drag-and-drop application that allows you to launch other applications in the OSX Desktop as the System Administrator or 'root'.
To use: drop an application icon onto the Pseudo icon, or into the Drop Target window of an already running copy of Pseudo.
You will be asked for your password, and the program will be launched with their administrative privileges.
Recently 'Pseudo-ed' applications can be launched from the 'Open Recent' menu.
Pseudo also provides it's functionality through a service in the Services menu of other applications, and through an optional system-wide menu.
DANCO Sooner or later Rosetta will cease to work. We need an Intel or Universal program that works like Pseudo. (Version 1.2.3)

DRDUL I thought I should add a review here, as the previous one is two years old. Even though Pseudo is apparently a PPC app and nota Universal app, I use it on a brand-new Mac Pro with OS X10.4.10 with no problem at all. It's a handy app that save me from having to log out of my day-to-day account and log in to my admin account just to do some minor task. (Version 1.2.3)
ANONYMOUS Was really awesome until it stopped working after the second time I used it. Deleting it and the preference file, then reinstalling didn't work either. (Version 1.2)
