JOI  The is a great program and it is now free. I have always been a poor speller, but I have never found a program which would drill you on words like this one does. Great idea and program for any age.

JOEL NELSON  Best spelling program for Mac OS X. It works very well, is effective for spelling practice, and is easy to use. Note that the 12 MB download is for the demo/lite version; after you register the software you download the full version (55 MB) or order it on CD.

ASHLEY  Very cool! I do run the 9.x version though - clearer speech (that's why the one for X is a beta). My 7 yo loves it, and it's a GREAT way for her to practice her school spelling. I love entering the words and then having the example sentances magically appear! Love the existing words, and fun categories! Words missed will resurface in future tests until they're mastered - great feature!
