MAHAMBO Nice at first sight, but very crappy video/audio recording. The audio is completely unsynchronized with the video. Tried to change default settings to no avail. (Version 3.6.5)
///2K Evocam is great! I have two mac's and two Rocketfish webcams streaming perfectly! One tip that was a pain in the arse to figure out is in order to allow other viewers to watch your stream, you need to change the internal IP address (ex. 192.xxx.x.x:8080) to your external IP. To find your external IP address, go to whatsmyip.com. The substitute the external IP (ex. 24.xxx.x.x). So when you send someone the link, send them http://24.xxx.x.x:8080/webcam.html
RANDALL DEMAREE I tried this program out and was quite pleased with the options and ease of use so I bought it. I had a second camera, a linksys wireless g, which wasn't supported so I emailed the develeoper and asked about it. Within two days I had an email back asking for access to my camera so they could look at it. Within a week they'd reverse engineered the firmware, found options that I don't think linksys knows about and had a new version of their software that supported it. Now thats what I call support. The webserver is a piece of cake and the other options are great. I highly recommend both the software and the company. It's these kinds of developers that make the mac community what it is. ANONYMOUS This is one rock solid web cam with some great features.
The built in web server works great. I have used it on everything from a G5 to my power G4. The password protection is nice when using it for watching the house.
You can not only stream live video, but also take pics and upload them to a directory. I like having the choice. Sometimes I don't want to burn the bandwidth and just take pics every x minutes.
You can also use it to record video. A nice extra feature. Great product!!!!! (Version 3.5.1)
ANONYMOUS Please read the EvoCam FAQ (http://www.evological.com/evocamfaq.html) as it has the solution to your problem. If you need help, please email Evological support.

KK Have put this through its paces and the 3.5 version is rock solid. Very versatile, very easy to alter settings and features. By far the best webcam program I've used since 1995 and the price is unbeatable. Many kudos to the author. Worth every cent! (Version 3.5)
