DESCRIPTION
Rendezyou is an event coordination solution which integrates with Apple's iCal. You can invite several participants to an event, suggesting a few alternative dates. The participants can then indicate whether they are available on the suggested dates or not.

  • Improved registration regime: Users must be logged in to access their aggregated rendezyous (My Rendezyou's, import and subscribe to personal Rendezyou Calendar).
  • [Feature] Main window is now resizable.
  • [Enhancement] Insert link to rendezyou by using RENDEZYOU_LINK as a placeholder in invitation messages.
  • [Bug] iCal events could not be dragged into Rendezyou client app if ~/Library/Application Support/Rendezyou directory does not exist.

    YANGMEYER  Release v0.5, which fixes the critical bug above, is now available. Again, sorry for the bug, and enjoy the much-improved Rendezyou v0.5!

    MAJAKOVSKIJ  This is really a very useful app! I use it for coordinating the appointments with my students. It gives both - me and them - more comfort than the traditional way of exchanging several emails. Thanks to the authors!

    SWATERS  I downloaded and tried this on an Intel iMac with 10.5 and it would not accept any iCal events.

    YANGMEYER  Sorry for only replying now. You are right, there is a critical bug in version 0.4 of the Rendezyou client. We messed up this release, and we're profoundly sorry to everybody who gave Rendezyou a try and was disappointed! We humbly ask everyone to give us, and our little but useful app, a second chance.

    This bug will be fixed in version 0.5, scheduled for release this Sunday, Jan 10. In the meantime, users of version 0.4 can *work around the bug* by manually creating the folder "~/Library/Application Support/Rendezyou". You should then be able to drag iCal events into the app.

    Try it out – invite some friends to go to the cinema (which film? when? where?) and see which suggestion makes most sense. Enjoy! :-)
