    DORKYPANTS  I don't get it. Why is it better to run this app than to pick Sleep from the Apple menu?

    MODFOX  The application does not put your computer to sleep, it only puts the monitor to sleep.

    This allows for you to turn off your monitor, but continue processes on your computer, for example; downloading something.
