MACVAULT  Is it just me, or does anybody else think it's insane that a mouse driver is 60+ MB in size? I'm sure the new hardware is awesome (I plan to get one), but whatever happened to tight coding? These package sizes (not just this, but everything) has gotten so out of control.

MISHA  The coding for the mouse driver is still tight.

It's all those videos that demonstrate the gestures (which are quite high quality) that take up the room.

BRENDAN MCKINLEY  Platform should be changed from Intel to Universal. Just installed on a PPC without problems.

MISHA  The requirement is for the Snow Leopard version. We'll adjust this, though.

MTCOBRA  May I safely assume that this upgrade is not for the wireless mouse called Mighty Mouse that came with my machine which has been upgraded to Snow Leopard? Were it not for the picture of the new wireless mouse, I'd sure think this was referring to the old wireless mouse, and you'd figure that an upgrade would apply to the old wireless mouse, but I'm guessing not. Things are not always crystal clear to me. Sorry.

DARUKARU  You can certainly install the package, but it won't do anything for you unless you have a Magic Mouse.

MPEZ  What are the special features of the mouse? I used one in an apple store yesterday (NextByte actually - I'm in Oz). It was pretty good and definitely better than the mighty mouse. Movement was precise, but it did not always feel comfortable in my hand. Part of that may be familiarity with the old. I had a little trouble getting the two-finger scroll to work. Having Star Trek fingers - you know, the V thing, will help. I'm looking forward to more gestures in the future - mind you, I've been looking forward to the same on my MBA….

Hope this means 10.6.2 is on the horizon.
