NUMERACYWORKS  GeoGebra is a great product and the community of people that have developed it do some amazing things. In my own experience, I felt there were times, say with younger or struggling students, where GeoGebra and other dynamic construction software was too abstract. It's a great goal to get students to this conceptual level, but getting there might be difficult. I feel that one way is with the kinds of manipulations (folding, cutting, etc) and transformations (animated, a little more tangible) that Tabula encourages. That's a big part of why I wrote it. I had to stop teaching to do it, so I can't quite make it free.

STICKMAN67  This beta is free but expires soon. Do we infer from this that the release version (1.0) will no longer be free?

Not a criticism of the product or its developers, but I think it's important for developers to be a bit less ambiguous when it comes to matters like this.

Otherwise, it looks good and I'm going to take a closer look at it.

NUMERACYWORKS  Thank you for your comment and I'm sorry for any confusion regarding my intentions for Tabula. The information I had on my website regarding my release plans should have also been here.
