CHAS_M  +1 the above comment. Rogue Amoeba are good people and make a fine product (Audio Hijack Pro, part of a whole family of great products) that does all this and more for a couple bucks more. I don't have a strong motivation to try your product, even if there are minor differences or even small advantages (see iPod vs. rest of MP3 player market).

Make this untested, unproven copycat DRAMATICALLY cheaper (or better), and you'll find an audience.

I offer this in the spirit of encouraging competition and shareware development.

BUGSMAN (I ZAP GERMS)  I lecture on Marketing. Rule 1: ascertain there is a market. Rule 2: if you want to compete against a market leader, what is the compelling reason to buy from you?

Yes there is a market, but why should customers try and save $5 on an unknown newcomer versus the leader of the pack when this package offers absolutely nothing extra?

Dear developer, I applaud your efforts, and those of all other Mac shareware publishers. Just get to grips with actual commercial realities.

Sure, you will sell a handful of licences, but only to those that know no better. Keep developing, but make sure you add the extra wow! factor.

Otherwise it's me too, five years too late.
