  • Verify location and local time of the number you call to avoid waking up people in the middle of the night.

    DAVEYOLA  perfect! you nailed it. only thing i'd like is the same thing that person above mentioned - empty the comment field upon submit - OR - a little "clear info" button that just empties phone and text if desired (i often text myself, so leaving phone in place is perfect for me)

    fast, simple, uncluttered, works like a charm...

    BROKERDON  Works GREAT! Easiest way to set Google Voice... Google should BUY this from you and offer it!

    Only "wish" is to somehow have an additional GV Connect Widget for my 2nd GV number... Any suggestions?

    Thanks for this great widget... It should be on MacWorld's GEM list!

    ANDREAS AMANN  You should be able to ad a second instance of the widget to the Dashboard (click the "+" button on the bottom left, then drag the widget from the bar into the open area) and use your second account credentials for this second instance.

    WEASELBOY  1.9.2 is working fine for me on 10.6.3. You might try deleting and reinstalling the widget?

    JUSTINFREID  I was pleasantly surprised by the full contacts (Address Book or Google) integration for SMS and voice. This is the best frontend for Google Voice (or even Grandcentral) that I've ever seen.

    JESSELOVESNIKKI  I love this widget. It's so much easier than the website and allows you to pull from your computer's addressbook. only had a couple issues that signing out & back in didn't solve, but I use it multiple times a day.

    DON SYKES  I find this extremely useful for sending SMS messages through Google Voice. I don't use text on my cell phone, but my kids do. This allows me to send quick messages for free. I think the author did a great job with the look and feel of the widget too! It's attractive, well designed and the author seems very responsive. Earlier versions seemed to freeze from time to time, but this has much improved. I'm giving him five stars!

    EJI  Since downloading v1.8, I'm unable to login and get repeated login errors (in the form of a red stripe at the bottom of the widget). Is this a known bug?

    ANDREAS AMANN  This should be fixed in 1.8.1 - sorry about that (the recent upgrade in the GV protocol caused me to release 1.8 a tad rushed…)

    WEASELBOY  Nice widget that gives you easy access to Google Voice. I use the widget to quickly access my OS X Address Book app numbers to dial through GV. Also works well to change your GV settings without having to go to the GV web page.

    VERY responsive developer. I e-mailed him yesterday about a problem with the widget showing dup entries from Google Contacts and the OS X Address Book, and he responded with a fix the same afternoon. A+

    RADIORHAEEM  Does what it says it does, seems to work well with no delay compared to using the full GV web site.

    A suggestion: In the SMS view there is no way for me to just clear both the recipient field and main text body field. I would like to leave the widget blank for the next message I want to send, rather than having to delete everything every time I want to send out a new SMS.

    Other than that it looks and works great. Just needs some interface improvements.
