DESCRIPTION
Radio Gaga is the ultimate Internet radio multi-recorder. Listen to 10,000+ Internet radio stations.

The world of Internet radio is vast and eclectic. With an endless number of radio stations streaming music, you can listen to just about anything you want. Radio Gaga contains an automatically updated directory of 10,000+ radio stations from around the world, separated into genres, so you can easily find the stations you want to listen to.

Multi-record dozens of radio stations simultaneously
Radio Gaga is the ultimate Mac program for not only listening to Internet radio stations, but also for multi-recording them. Radio Gaga can multi-record as many streams as your bandwidth allows, and save the resulting songs in MP3 format, trimmed and tagged for export to iTunes (of course, without DRM). Radio Gaga even has filters, so you can record only the music you like and ignore the rest.

Record when you're away; listen when you're home
Listening is one thing, but you're not always available when the programs or music you like are on. You can use Radio Gaga's schedule feature to set up one-off or regular recording sessions, so you can listen when you want. You can even set up multiple recording sessions, for as many streams and at as many times as you want. The only limits are your bandwidth and your hard disk space. Radio Gaga saves the resulting recordings in its Tracks library where you can sort your music, listen to it, and export it to your iTunes library with a single click.

Stay in control
Listen to radios and recorded tracks on your Mac, and keep Radio Gaga out of the way. Use the program's mini-controller to control playback and volume. It floats above your other windows so the controls are always a click away.

A world of choice
Radio Gaga finds radio stations from around the world, and separates them into genres, helping you find the stations you want to listen to. With 27 genres (rock, dance, folk, metal, pop, classical, jazz, alternative, ambient and much more), and over 10,000 radio stations, you'll never need to listen to silence again. Its directory is automatically updated, so you always have the largest selection of Internet radio stations possible.

Add more radio stations
If you know of a radio station that's not in our automatically-updated library of 10,000+ Internet radio stations, add it yourself. Make sure to submit it to the Radio Gaga team so we can add it to our directory of stations. add new radios

Save songs and fill your iTunes library
Radio Gaga doesn't just record music and save it in anonymous files. Radio Gaga splits the recordings into tracks, and - depending on the program information provided by the radio stations you record - tags the songs and adds them to your Radio Gaga library. Select the songs you want to keep and one click adds them to iTunes so you can put them on your iPod.

Please Note Radio Gaga can be installed and used on up to 3 Macs concurrently. If you want to install it on more Macs, you must first Deauthorize one of the installations you have already made (which can be done from within the application).

RONL  Still evaluating.

It appears that at the very least it makes an excellent way to record hundreds of songs for evaluation before purchasing them at a higher quality level from iTunes.

Love iTunes but sometimes the lead in to a song just is not enough to know whether I actually like it or not.

I've used this app to listen to full songs and have then purchased the songs at iTunes.

Great app but a little pricey.

WILPON  I tried this but noticed that Radio Gaga doesn't split songs well at all - typically 3-5 seconds off. Makes the beginning of songs get cut off. Am I missing something?

GEORGE BARON  I paid for this thing; however, I'm unable to get any download list in the "Pop" genre. I get the other genres I'm interested in. Every time I try the "Pop genre I get, "Radio Gaga could not receive information from the radio list server." I've tried morning, noon and night-is there a problem???

KIRKMC  This is a really great program. I'm into all kinds of music, a lot of which doesn't get radio play, and I've found plenty of stations from around the world with the music I like. I set it one night to record from a dozen streams, and the next morning had a few GB of music to sort through. I love the interface, and the scheudles and filters give it lots of options for recording. Great deal, too, with three licenses at this price.

JAZZYGUY  After a lot of trouble getting the stations to play and finally solving it I must give this app a 5 Star Rating. It is excellent in every respect and very ergonomic. I like Snowtape as well but the ease of use and the larger selection of stations has them all beat!

FARQUE  I purchased Radio Gaga yesterday.

BIG PROBLEM,

I added my radio station but it didn't play,

Found out that Radio Gaga doesn't support the stream of my radio station, here is the reply from Gaga tech support......

"The format of this station's stream (Windows Media) is not currently supported by Radio Gaga. Radio Gaga currently only supports MP3 streams. AAC stations are not currently supported by Radio Gaga as well"

All I normally do is type in the radio station as a URL and it starts straight away.... nothing fancy.

Asking for a refund, from the website there are no indications of compatibility issues, would be handy to have a list of the radio stations as well.

0/10 for me

JFM  If you allow me... I am not connected in any way to Radio gaga, just a happy customer. But I would suggest that you keep in mind this is a 1.0 release. I am confident that it will develop over time. I suggest that anybody experiencing the same problem as yours reports it to the developer, so that he/she will consider adding those other types to a future release. This is a constructive approach, and I feel confident it will be considered, since the developer appeared to be quite responsive to peoples' inquiries.

I agree, however, that such limitations should be clearly mentioned on the developer's website.

JAZZYGUY  I Solved the problem on my own of not getting the stations to play. Here is the solution: It is SIMPLE! If you have Glimmer Blocker as I do go to the first pane and DEACTIVATE it (Just so you can use Radio GAGA you can reactivate it later) ALL stations will now play!

AMACTEUR  I'm very satisfy with this product, exactly what I was looking for... The export to iTunes is the main feature that made me go ahead.

The UI is intuitive and the range of radios can satisfy almost everybody. RadioGaga rocks ! ;-)

SAMUELCHANG   I use RadioLover long time. It require a little fine setting for Splitting file. It means some stream are different timing between File Information and 'Real' File change timing.

Today I try 'Radio Gaga'. Yes nice UI, no trouble exporting to iTunes.

But 'Radio Gaga' doesn't have Split TIming Control. Then my favorite Radio becomes mess.

Sorry, I stay on 'Radio Lover'.

BTW : No more Promo? Is that extended? If still Promo price, I may invest for expecting future Up-date.

IAN HERMAN  Works fine, but it won't export to itunes, which is the main reason I purchased it. It just hangs endlessly saying "Exporting tracks to iTunes". Wrote to support and they were no help. Told me I had to make sure iTunes was launching??? I'm not an idiot.
