Pomodoro Desktop is a simple but effective way to manage your (coding) time, and it's based on the Pomodoro technique.

Pomodoro stays silently on your status bar. You can only start/stop it or make interruptions. Pomodoro discreetely notifies you of important Time events using Growl or spoken notifications.

GIOVANNI LANZANI  Great! The new icons look much better than before! I would also appreciate an option to hide the seconds, or to have a rough indicator of what is left (like the icon for the battery)!

For example you could have a pomodoro which colors itself continuosly with time, instead of having the exact amount left.

FREVOI  Thanks for this app! Pomodoro clearly has the edge over TimeBoxed which basically is just a countdown timer and does not offer the possibility to chain work and break timers. And it's free! It just need some pretty icons, especially the one in the menu bar is just plain ugly... It's not even recognizable.
