DESCRIPTION
PHP Console is a quick little app I wrote to help me while writing PHP scripts - I use it whenever I'm writing PHP, so I thought it might be useful for others as well. The major difference between version 2.0 and 1.6 is the document-based approach. Version 2.0 is shareware, and will expire on Nov. 1st, 2009 without a registration.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 2.0.4:
  • displays your name in the preferences after you've registered
  • fixed a couple syntax-coloring bugs
  • unregistered copies will expire on november 1st. you got a couple more months :)
REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.5 or later.

SILVERDEMON  If you are too lazy to write proper test code to a file and you're really getting tired of writing stuff like php -r "echo foo(\$bar);" in bash just to test something simple out, this is a perfect solution.

With an ability to select the path to you php cli binary (i have mine built from MacPorts), this is truly invaluable. Of course, it won't directly help you debug stuff remotely on your server, but it does exactly what it says it does.

And to me, that saves a bit of a hassle sometimes.

Great work.

JAHERZ  Great little App. Just what the Doctor ordered.

Found it the other day - started to use it - found it to be very useful.

Saved me a bit of time - checking the affect of certain coding strategies.

Thank you for making this available to the Mac PHP coding community for free.

STAINER  Great! So simple and effective. Only feature I miss is the ability to set a custom php binary.

TICE  Neat little app. Does what it says. No HTML, but perfect for quick testings. Only the window should be resizeable.
