DESCRIPTION
Plants vs Zombies...Get ready to soil your plants in an all-new action-strategy game from PopCap! A mob of fun-loving zombies is about to invade your home, and your only defense is an arsenal of 49 zombie-zapping plants. Use peashooters, wall-nuts, cherry bombs and more to mulchify 26 types of zombies before they can reach your front door.
Each zombie has its own special skills, so you'll need to think fast and plant faster to combat them all. But be careful how you use your limited supply of greens and seeds... as you battle the fun-dead, obstacles like a setting sun, creeping fog and a swimming pool add to the challenge. And with five game modes to dig into, the fun never dies!
- Play five game modes: Adventure, Mini-Games, Puzzle, Survival, plus the stress-free Zen Garden
- Conquer all 50 levels of Adventure mode -- through day, night and fog, in a swimming pool and on the rooftop
- Battle 26 types of zombies including pole-vaulters, snorkelers and "Zomboni" drivers
- Earn 49 powerful perennials and collect coins to buy a pet snail, power-ups and more!
WHAT'S NEW

AWADO The graphics are neat, that's true. But somehow the gameplay gets rather a hassle than kind of strategic. But what disappoints me most is a process called "MacProtectMonitor" that stays alive after the game has quit. I could not find any explanation what this one does, not in the readme, not on their website & it has to be force quit. Spyware or not, that is bad style! (Version 1.0)

FOU STEP Great game! Finished it, and definitely worth the 20 dollars if you like this kind of games! Survival mode is great, the ability in the game to help the zombies against the plants is fun too. Very addictive game! Can't wait to see an sequel to this. (Version 1.0)

CORPSECORPS When in full screen mode, it's possible to hide "Plants vs. Zombies" and see the desktop, but unfortunately the game crashes when you try to show it again by clicking in the dock or using the OS X application switcher (i.e. command-tab). Mac Pro w/Snow Leopard (Version 1.0)

CORPSECORPS Why might someone want to do that, you ask? I usually have "Snapz Pro" running and can't make an instant screenshot. I was trying to hide PvZ so i could Quit Snapz, then return and use the Snow Leopard screenshot function. I've forgotten to quit Snapz first on more than one occasion and PVZ crashed each time. CORPSECORPS Very addicting without taxing your brain. Actual recreational recreation with some very funny bits and a skewed sense of humor. Exceptional with it's variety of twiddydinkies to buy and numerous mini-games and puzzles. (Version 1.0)

BEZIERBOY Extremely cute graphics. Neat twist on tower defense. Fun, varied gameplay (the mini games are actually an important diversion from the main gameplay.) A difficulty and learning curve that's well-adjusted. Only criticism I have is that it introduces new gameplay elements a bit slowly, i.e. they require a large amount of play time to see. Also, it's almost TOO addictive, in that Popcap game "Gee, how'd it get to be 4 a.m.?" way. (Version 1.0)
