DESCRIPTION
SizeUp allows you to quickly position a window to fill exactly half the screen (splitscreen), a quarter of the screen (quadrant), full screen, or centered via the menu bar or configurable system-wide shortcuts (hotkeys). Similar to "tiled windows" functionality available on other operating systems. Additional features include moving windows from one monitor to another, from one Space to another, and restoring a window to its original size and position (SnapBack).

DUNCAN ADAMS  I bought it .

It works.

I have not seen any ill effects on my Mac Pro 2.66.

It already saved me time in the demo mode .

I'm not much on hot keys ... just hunt and peck .

I use multiple monitors so I have different apps and

browsers open all the time.

It helps with space management .

I also use a Jave app for day trading .

It worked on it too.

So simple .. but yet effective.

I hope you make a mil. on the app .

thanks

FLEC65  What a nice little piece of software. I have tried other windows manager apps but SizeUp is the best for my need. Simple and effective to use, with the right amount of features, SizeUp is real time saver and solve my biggest gripe with the Finder. And the asking price is right too. After a couple of hours using it, I was sold. Well done!

XASEY  SizeUp is great, filling a need I didn't know I had. Now I use it religiously... every time I open a new window. I like having a 20px margin around everything so my desktop shows through, and I have SizeUp set up to use the right third of the screen for small apps, then the left two-thirds for large windowed apps... and everything looks so nice and tidy. I find I often surf with two Safari windows open now, I'll pop open a video and hit the keys to make SizeUp shove that into the top of the screen, then I'll surf in another window on the bottom, then when the video is over I can hit a few keys and my surfing window goes right back to where it was to begin with. Same thing works great for having ftp and several finder windows open at the same time... it just looks so much nicer and is easier to work with.

Also, I mentioned to the developer that it would be cool if the feature that lets you move windows to other spaces could also do so by pressing a modifier and the number of the space you want, and he sent me a beta version and some applescripts that let me do just that! A quick key press now sends my todo list back and forth to to the space that has the app I'm working with at the time, and it ends up right in the gap to the side of the app. No dragging things around to make several things visible all at once. Cool!

VAGABUNDO  SizeUp is really good. But it is missing my most used window positioning: Upper Center.

ECKIUS  Nice, very nice. Works smoothly as advertised. Should be part of OS X. Fully worth its recommended price ($ 8).

JIMK  SizeUp is a great way to move program's windows around your monitor(s). There is no extra fluff to muddy the interface, and you can choose your own keyboard shortcuts. After using it a short while, I will no longer move my windows around any other way.

The "Name your own price" pricing methodology is the most honest and flexible method I've seen. It brings shareware back the way it was intended to be! Double plus good all around!

NEALNT  I had the opportunity to beta test this program. It works very well. It is great for comparing two documents or two folders.
