JON555  This app is a lifesaver. No, really. If you haven't downloaded it yet, do it now. It will save you so much headache it's not even funny.

All those flash ads (or any flash for that matter) just looks like an empty box with the Flash symbol in the middle. Nothing Flash-related loads unless you click on it to do so (or you could simply add that site to a list that always allows Flash from that site). It's a fantastic app that's very feature-rich. It has definitely helped my battery's charge to last longer on my MacBook Pro.

Keep up the awesome work devs!

JEFFREY HARRIS  This thing is better than I had hoped.

I use the Glims Safari plug-in to reload multiple browser windows, with multiple tabs open in each. After quitting Safari or logging out, it can take a minute or more to reload all my tabs (sometimes 20 or more). ClicktoFlash cut that time down to mere seconds. I was stunned at how quickly I was able to actually use Safari again after relaunching.

I have no idea about the stability of the thing at this point, but it feels like I got my browser back!

EJ1  I had tried ClickToFlash before but couldn't get it to run on my system. This version installed easily worked right away after restarting Safari. I just watched CNN video straight through with audio and video in sync on my 7 year old iMac G4. Amazing.

ERUNNO  This is a great plug-in. Once feature I really miss though is the ability to whitelist Flash applets *from* a domain and not *on* a domain. This would allow all first party flash elements like menus and YouTube (if whitelisted) but still block all Flash ads which are usually served by third-party advertisement services.

PETERPAN23  great plugin - even gerater with an off-key for temporally disabling the plugin. e.g. "command+shift+klick" on the link opens a new tab with disabled ClickToFlash

NONEOFYOURBIZ  Absolutely the best Safari plug-in ever.

Flash is the biggest bane to the modern web, and this plug-in does a great job of providing a solution now while we wait until Flash is finally killed forever.

Everyone should install this NOW to make Safari load pages faster and avoid all the Flash junk all over the web.

SJK  ClickToFlash's "Load H.264 videos from YouTube" setting is incompatible with SafariStand's "Flash Movie > Copy Movie to Download Folder" command. Without enabling that setting, appending &fmt=18 to a YouTube URL usually loads H.264 video that SS can copy. Any suggestions how to get YouTube to load H.264 automatically *and* be able to copy the video?

JOHNNY ROCKET  I found that after first installing it doesn't show up, but once I go to a page with flash, then it shows up and works just fine

JOHN SAWYER CJS  Once installed, if Safari is still running, you may have to quit from Safari and re-launch it for ClickToFlash to work

JON555  This is the most amazing browser add-on ever. My battery life has doubled (which is not really Safari's fault, Flash is horribly slow). That and the option to use h264 instead of flash makes this the perfect thing for any Safari user. Keep up the awesome work devs!
