JON555  This really can't get enough praise. Works fantastically. I'd HIGHLY recommend you use the stable release though and not the beta MacUpdate links to. Keep up the awesome work devs!

2KTZ  HELP

ok i uninstalled the NON beta version then tried the beta...but couldn't find that anywhere after installing it..so tried the NON beta again and it told me that a newer version already is on my HD...??

so i replaced it with the NON beta version and it's mot in drop down menu anywhere !!!

how to i find it looking though all the folders in finder ??..i am getting really annoyed at this now..and cannot understand why you have to have a account simply to tell the devs ...i have not come across that with many other apps...

DRDUL  Works for me. Does what it says it will do, and looks good doing it. No increased CPU load, no crashes, no complaints whatsoever. I happily donated.

2KTZ  i decided to try the stable version over the weekend...i really liked it more than the beta i tried earlier...

the only niggle i have is this...

if you choose the FULL SCREEN option it hides the menu bar...which i really like...

the only thing is ..it disables you from accessing the dock !!! if that can be sorted it will be great !!!...

hope the devs see this or someone else has told them about that....

SPRINGHEELMAC  Is it effecting your performance? I get BETTER performance running it due to Flash being blocked. As for CPU usage, it will not hurt your computer. I've been running BOINC in the background on my PPC eMac for almost four years 24/7 with flat out 100% CPU usage the whole time with NO problems. By the way, THAT hasn't effected my performance either, if anyone wants to put their unused cycles to good use.

**...

JOECAP5  I install ClickToFlash recently because flash eats up so much CPU.

I actually found with ClickToFlash installed the CPU was being used twice as much even when the flash was still being blocked. So I uninstalled it. Maybe it does that because it's a beta. I'm going to try some other tools.

2KTZ  having downloaded 1.6b2 of click to flash it is great !!....

I'm using latest safari and snowleopard...

a few things i have noticed.....

1) when i click on REPLY button in my yahoo mail there is a outline of a small red box INSIDE and behind where it says REPLY..and some sort of word inside of the red box....

2) again in yahoo mail..you seem to have to click/check on the load invisible flash in order to get the IM to work in yahoo mail....

3) if you use private browsing and disable cache in safari ...it does seem to take a while to load pages...now this may be just me..because i just don't like a bunch of cookies and cache filling up all the time so thats why i use those options....

so has anyone else has noticed any of the above?

hope the devs can answer what i have noticed.....other than that it is great....

highly recommended

2KTZ  here is a note of what i get when i put cursor over the attachment button on e-mail replies....

" flash/uploader-2_7.swf"

maybe the developer will know what this means....

i think the word behind and in the red outlined box as stated in the above says flash....

if i leave the cursor over the attach button words change after a few seconds to..."attachments for e-mail" and sometimes it does not... and every time i move cursor over that button it says what i stated above...and not attachments etc...

would be interested in what developer thinks of this...

SPRINGHEELMAC  INDISPENSABLE!!! Really. Without this my online experience would be one slow, bogged down advertising hell. With this I'm able to use the latest Flash even on my 1.42GHz eMac without slow down. Its nice to know I can set up which sites I want to always display Flash and which I don't. That way I can just blaze along. Thanks to the devs!!!

JON555  This app is a lifesaver. No, really. If you haven't downloaded it yet, do it now. It will save you so much headache it's not even funny.

All those flash ads (or any flash for that matter) just looks like an empty box with the Flash symbol in the middle. Nothing Flash-related loads unless you click on it to do so (or you could simply add that site to a list that always allows Flash from that site). It's a fantastic app that's very feature-rich. It has definitely helped my battery's charge to last longer on my MacBook Pro.

Keep up the awesome work devs!

JEFFREY HARRIS  This thing is better than I had hoped.

I use the Glims Safari plug-in to reload multiple browser windows, with multiple tabs open in each. After quitting Safari or logging out, it can take a minute or more to reload all my tabs (sometimes 20 or more). ClicktoFlash cut that time down to mere seconds. I was stunned at how quickly I was able to actually use Safari again after relaunching.

I have no idea about the stability of the thing at this point, but it feels like I got my browser back!
