Screenshot Plus can take full screen captures, grab portions of the screen, and even capture windows, desktop icons, and other widgets. Captures may be saved to the clipboard or to the hard drive, or they may be exported to any application directly from the widget.
Screenshot Plus, by default, displays a preview of captures taken. For a truly streamlined workflow, it also offers the option to save or import immediately after capturing; in literally one-click, anything on the screen can be ready for editing or stocked away in your iPhoto album.
Captures may be saved in the following formats: png, tiff, jpg, pdf, gif. Screenshot Plus is available in English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, French and Dutch.
TOMDOHERTY After downloading I get a Widget Installer dialogue box with the message: [The file "Screenshot_Plus_3.2.wgdt" is not a valid widget and you cannot install it]. Huh!!! (Version 3.2)
MACUPDATE ADMIN I assure you it is a valid widget, try downloading it again using another browser. (Version 3.2)

DANA SUTTON The statement that this version is "Snow Leopard-ready" is interesting, because this is the first such claim I have seen. It is a very lucky shareware developer who can get his hands on a developer's beta, and a very plucky one to make this claim since Snow Leopard is no doubt going to go through several more iterations before the GM version is released and what works on the current one may not work on future ones. (Version 3.2)
CLINTOS And I can't get the Grab a window option to work: whole screen highlights, and when you click the camera cursor/icon, no preview appears and save doesn't work either. (Version 3.2)

DANA SUTTON This, no doubt, iks a good and worthy product. But I do object to its name, which is way toomuch like ScreenShot Plus, the name of a shareware app. that has been available for quite a number of years. How many people are going to appreciate the subtle difference between "Screenshot" and "ScreenShot"? The developer of this product ought to Do The Right Thing and display more originality in naming it. (Version 3.1)
