GENGHISCOHEN  Like the description says, this is a hex editor. If you don't know what that is, you don't need it.

Seriously, it's primarily a tool for developers, although it can also be used to "crack" applications in order to pirate them.

FOOFOORABBIT  Yes, obviously...but what's with the user interface? I've never seen a developer go through the extraordinary lengths to create a Linux/Windows like custom window to have the window widgets on the right.

Like you said, this is a hex editor...there are already tons of excellent hex editors on Mac OS X (HexFiend comes to mind)...why did the developer feel like creating such an atrocious port when there are already many quality ones on OS X.

HERMIT  @foofoorabbit - there is an explanation for all your questions on the program's website. It would help keep the information an reviews on this site useful if the people that wish to make them could at least look at the program's web site before posting.

True, it is longer than your average twitter, so I can see how that would be taxing...

HERMIT  "Written with C++/wxWidgets GUI libs and can be used with other OSes such as Mac OS, Windows..." So, it's a Linux program using a universal library for maximum portability to other OSes from its original one, Linux.

Awesome review!
