I've tested and used more than a hanfull of timers, some of the too basic (Timer HB) some of them too feature-laden (Apimac timer) and convoluted (iClock) and some of the just don't fell right (Timer) - I had settled with Pester whose user interface and quick way of doing what I want it to do seemed to work best for me. What I like about Timer Utility is that you can loop the alarm sound until you have manually dissmissed it and that you can set different coundowns (and of course alarms) at the same time, triggering different actions / Alarms sounds e.g. But easy of use and the price are taking the cake here. Here's a suggestion: how about having the dock icon display the remaining countdown time? (Version 3.0)

SQUIDLOR This is a great little timer! Hands down, the best of all the ones I've tried (Time Boxed, ClockWork, Alarm Clock Pro, and others I no longer recall). Events are easy to set up. The usual events are here: Stop watches for elapsed time, Countdown Timers, and alarms for specific times. Best of all for me, you can have a list of commonly used events: Laundry, cooking a Pizza, etc... No need to set the same alarm time and again, just create it once, and then just select it from the list next time. (Version 3.4)

NEAL KERR This is a great timer utility! I love the ability to chain timers together, which is the exact functionality I've been looking for, and I have a feature request-- the ability to add additional timers (12 seems arbitrary, why not twenty) I need more! And an issue-- You should get rid of the sheet that announces the timer has expired, Unless you manually dismiss it, the timer window does not update. Also, you cant tell (with a series of timers chained together) which timer is currently running. You need to have the selected item in the list of timers change as the timer moves from one to the next. Other than that...Great work! (Version 3.4)

TINGTING This application is great. I've been using it all the time the last few days for a bunch of things. It's easy and intuitive to use. It has wonderful options whence the alarm completes. I really like the different alarm sound options; They sound cool and really grab my attention when I'm away from my MacBook. I'd like to be able to switch the colors on the full screen so it isn't so bright, i.e. white numbers and black screen. It's a nice app. Thank you. (Version 3.4)

TINGTING Other feature requests: - ability to run regular Applescripts on alarm end. - Maybe make the ["Alarm Clocks"|"Countdown Timers"|"Stopwatch"] bar about 4-12 pixels taller. (Version 3.4)

VAGABUNDO Whenever I see and update to Timer Utility, I'm like... what new features could the developer possibly add to an already useful, elegant application while still keeping it simple? Well, there you have it. He manages to do just that. Thank you developer! This is a great little app to have. One thing I noticed on this update is that when time is complete, the "Dismiss" option appears to have been removed? I would really like to see it back. (Version 3.5.3)

JUAN ROA Thank you for your feedback. It is exciting to see positive comments from users. Regarding the "Dismiss" button, when an alarm or timer completes, the sheet that dropped down has been removed due to it being an obstruction to linked alarms/timers or alarms/timers that are running. In its place, there are alternative ways of seeing which alarm/timer completed. (Version 3.5.3)

VAGABUNDO You are totally right. Don't need it anymore. I can just press the space bar and it will "dismiss" it. Wonderful! Great job! (Version 3.5.3)

W100D001 This utility is a must have. I would have expected something like this to already be included with OS X. Thank you developer. I use this at home for baking (among other things)... as well as at the office for reminders. Love it. (Version 3.5.3)
