Telephone is a VoIP program which allows you to make phone calls over the internet. It can be used to call regular phones via any appropriate SIP provider. If your office or home phone works via SIP, you can use that phone number on your Mac anywhere you have decent internet connection.
EOFSTER You can choose any SIP provider you want. For example, we already have a number of them listed here: http://code.google.com/p/telephone/wiki/ProvidersTested (Version 0.14.1)

FUHAYER i wonder if there is a way to see the remaining credit of our voip account. at least we must see how much credit do we still have. no any way for this ? (Version 0.14)
ANONYMOUS You can use standard Mac OS X application called Address Book to store your contacts. These contacts will be autocompleted in Telephone account window. You can also dial from the Address Book itself, just click the phone label and select "Dial with Telephone" from the pop-up menu. If you want to store a SIP address for the contact, just add it as an email with the custom label "sip". (Version 0.14)
