DESCRIPTION
Rectangle Tetris... Beginning as a game that we would play occasionally in 6th grade math, Rectangle Tetris is a game that takes a spin on the classic game of Tetris by introducing a dice roll. The game begins with a grid of nine by seventeen boxes, two dice are then rolled and the values become the length and width of a rectangle. The player then selects a location to place the rectangle and continues to repeat the steps until there is no extra room. The goal is to fill in the entire grid leaving no empty boxes.

TWEETY_  Many playing pieces are to BIG, for example 4 blocks x 6 blocks size, or 5x5.

The game could be so much more if the playing pieces are smaller like in the original Tetris game.

It would be nice to have an (ghost) image of the current block you have to set, now you have to guess if it fits somewhere, and then the game can be prematurely set to New game or Quit.

PANDAMONIA  Assuming you are playing on a Mac, I do have it set to have ghost images. Describe your computer and operating system so I can fix this problem ASAP.

Thanks so much > Pandamonia LLC

PANDAMONIA  That might be why. I only have Leopard, so I haven't tested it on your OS. I'm sorry, but may I suggest upgrading to Leopard.

TWEETY_  Then your requirements for a system should say 10.5 and not 10.2 (or later).

DDCHENE  A pleasant pastime, not too hard on the brain but not entirely thoughtless either. High scores would be nice, but since they're going to converge rapidly on the high 90s, the list won't be interesting for long.

PANDAMONIA  I agree. I decided to make the high score web-based, which will be featured as a part of the .5 release.

PANDAMONIA  Oh, yeah, that. That was my way of checking whether or not the preference file containing the high scores was working. I guess I forgot to take that out in 1.6.3, but I think .4 fixed that, or did it?

PANDAMONIA  I'd be greatly appreciative if you could point out where it appears buggy so that I can fix the problems before the next release.

MYSTERY TRAMP  I was getting a strange error message "George Boole/Invalid checksum" at the end of games, possibly associated with high scores. Seems like you corrected that (by eliminating high scores? ::) )
