After updating to Mac OS X 10.5.6, Mail may unexpectedly quit. This can be caused by using a copy of Mail that wasn't updated properly (you may need to install the Mail Update).
AYUB Yea, the reason of crashing was for pgp plugin. I didn't see this update earlier and I got to fix it myself. Just go to "/Users//Library/Mail/Bundles" and delete the pgp bundle and relaunch Mail. Hope this will help. (Version 1.0)
AYUB Grr, I type 'username' in angel brackets and macupdate thought it's a tag and not showing. The path where you will see Mail bundles (plugins) is: /Users/username/Library/Mail/Bundles. Here 'username' is your login username. (Version 1.0)

AYUB Mail was running well when I removed the pgp bundle. But since yesterday my Mail was not Quitting. I always had to 'Force Quit'. Now installed the upgrade and things are fine. Thanks for the update. Can I install the pgp bundle now? I'm going to have a try. (Version 1.0)
MACUPDATE ADMIN Have you used Apple's Disk Utility to repair permissions? Have you used your preferred system utility to 'clean up' your Mac? I'm asking these things because I do not know what if anything you have tried to do to remedy the issue except for restarting your Mac. (Version 1.0)

COLLIN BLACKMAN Try downloading the combo updater and run that across the top after quitting all apps esp third party ones such as Little Snitch etc. Helped me with 10.5.6 (Version 1.0)
