DESCRIPTION
LittleSnapper allows you to take screenshots of an entire webpage, or specific portions of your screen in general, without cluttering your desktop with a ton of icons. It then organizes those snaps into a library where you can tag, rate and comment them.
It also comes with some built-in vector tools that allow you to mark up your images with text, callouts, shapes, lines, arrows, blurs and highlighting. Best of all, the annotations are all non-destructive allowing you to hide and show them at a moment's notice.
Then share the snaps with your clients colleagues and friends. To make that possible, we've built in support for Flickr, image exports, FTP, SFTP and our own webservice especially for LittleSnapper users: QuickSnapper.

EFF Like some of the other commenters, I too participated in the beta test for this promising app. As a designer I love the idea of a central repository for my screenshots. The ability to share them online is sort of cute, but doesn't really integrate with my workflow since I usually work for clients who don't want their designs available "freely" during the development process (I use a password protected site, aka "extranet", for that sort of thing). There are a few UI quirks left, i.e. I'd prefer to be able to view my screenshots in list format in addition to the other view options (by icon, single image), so I can get a quick, sortable (by name, date, etc.) overview of the stuff in my library. All that being said, and for me personally, LittleSnapper is not worth the asking price of $39 - compared to taking and sorting screenshots manually, its current feature set isn't compelling enough. At $20-$25 it would be a no-brainer, but not for $40. (Version 1.0)

MACMARIA I'm testing LittleSnapper and must agree with the previous comments. It looks and feels sleek, stable and quite good on organizing screenshots (better than Skitch, IMO), but 39$ is way too much, specially for an app that just came out. I would for sure buy it at 25$, but at the current price I really must think if the organization LS provides is worth the big money. (Skitch is working fine, but when you have lots of images it is a drag to search them). PS. Then again I also thought RapidWeaver (also by the same company) was quite expensive and decided on Sandvox Pro -- same price, more features -- and I'm quite pleased with it. (Version 1.0)

GEOPICK Snapz Pro has been my stable screen capture utility for years. It's pretty solid, but no new features have been added for quite a while and I wonder if the developers see it as a priority. LittleSnapper has a lot of potential. The main feature that attracts me is the ability to capture entire web pages, even those not fully exposed in the window. But LittleSnapper seems to have difficulty dealing with tabs in FireFox. It's OK with untabbed windows. There are, as others note, some interface quirks or omissions. Some error displays lack any text. The icon display does not let you delete images with the "delete" key or standard cut. Also, a list view could be helpful. The overall impression is that this app is still in late beta. It is expensive by about US$10 or more. I won't buy a license now but will carefully watch to see how the developers respond. JM_BILL I helped the guys Beta test this application. It is very good in that it's relativity straightforward to use and much effort has been put into the interface and web integration with quicksnapper. However, the price does seem very steep, especially considering 15% VAT is added onto the final total. You only get free updates to version 2.0. I'm going to have to wait and see on this one for now. In the meantime, don't be surprised to see it discounted. RapidWeaver often gets discounted or offered as part of bundles. (Version 1.0)

DONPERREAULT I am in agreement with most of the other comments about the pricing. I think LittleSnapper is a great utility but overpriced by $20.00. (Version 1.0)

DAN.TINIANOW I was involved in the testing of this program. It's a great program, really, but I wouldn't buy it at this price. $20 or at most $25 seems right, but I will keep an eye out for a bundle, mupromo, maczot or other discount, or a repricing, which I suspect might be coming in short order if there are more comments along these lines. Maybe I am wrong, though, and it will take off at this price. (Version 1.0)

IAN JUDGE Excellent application, but with Evernote and Skitch offering similar functionality for free, it is over-priced. I would buy it if the price was around $25. (Version 1.0)

CH5719 At $15-$20 i'd consider it, since it is a nice app, but $39 is just nuts. Staying with Skitch. (Version 1.0)
